A Y Manufacturing sees coating application as one of its core
competencies. We are able to routinely process the following substrates:
- Cold-rolled steel
- Galvanized steel
- Aluminum alloy die castings and
stampings
We are able to process other ferrous and non-ferrous materials as well.

The A Y Manufacturing system is currently configured to apply the following coatings:
- Powercron Electrodeposition
- Powder top coatings
- Multicolored liquid top coatings
- Combinations of the above

The infrastructure that supports these capabilities consists
of the following:
- 15 stage pre-treatment system with a combination of immersion and
sprays
- 10 minute dry-off oven with an operational range of 200 to 300
degrees F
- 12,000 gallon cathodic electrocoat tank with four stage post rinse
- 20 minute electrocoat cure oven with an operational range of 200
to 400 degrees F
- Two liquid top coat booths manual liquid application
- 10 minute solvent flash-off tunnel
- 30 minute top coat cure oven with and operational range of 200 to
400 degrees F
At present, A Y Manufacturing coats die cast
aluminum engine blocks and stampings as well as sunroof components. |
