| The best way to produce a high quality product is to use
resources in the most efficient manner possible. Those resources are our people, our
time and our equipment. Our people are fully conversant with the latest
techniques in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. Like our
customers, we use the expertise of our people in quality circles to make our
products better and better.
Our people are our most important resource and we make sure we give them the tools to
do the job right. Our 135,000 square foot, three production line facility is
configured to produce both low and high volume designs. Where a person's hands are
best for the job, that's what we use. Where robots can perform better, as in
repetitive tasks, we integrate them into the manufacturing process.
For instance, all of the riveting in our sunroofs is performed by robots. Every
sunroof we build is measured robotically to make sure it's perfect before it's
shipped. What's more, the record of these measurements is stored for tracking and
analysis.

To ensure our sunroofs meet both our high quality standards
and yours, we test. Every model we run is tested in a number of ways.
- Environmentally Resistant. It must last the
life of the vehicle and look good in the process. Our salt bath is just one of the
ways we ensure this.
- Acoustically. We test all models in-house
in our noise test booth to ensure the quietest possible operation.
- Component Materials. All materials
are tested for suitability and durability as well as
conformance to our high standards.
- Finally, we innovate. We are constantly
testing and evaluating new materials, assembly methods and equipment to stay on the
cutting edge of technology and efficiency. And to stay ahead of our competition.
